| Arm your computer against viruses
ScanPM is a protected-mode-only version of Network Associates' (formerly McAfee) VirusScan, which scans all your drives and subdirectories for known and unknown viruses. It detects and eliminates 2,800 known viruses and macro viruses, checking memory, executables, and data files. Called from your Autoexec.bat, ScanPM checks both memory and your boot sector when your computer is turned on and provides constant background scanning as well. Very easy to use, ScanPM provides solid protection against viral infections but is not recommended for use on Windows 95 or NT systems. Reviewed on May 6 1998. |
